Jerry, just remember, it's not a lie if you believe it!

Well as you all know I finally got approved for the capital one secured card. I received an email yesterday that I will receive my card in 7-10 business days. I am very excited. I know that this is really going to help me improve my score. Well I have always really wanted a JC Penny card. I have been waiting for a better source of income to apply for one. Since I got the Capital One card a decided to try for the Penny’s card. I figured my chances were pretty good because over the past year I have improved my score a lot and hope to keep improving. Also I have read online and been told by a couple of people that Penny’s is a retail card for people trying to rebuild credit. So anyways I applied yesterday and I was approved. I am very happy. The limit isn’t that big, but I know with low utilization and on time payments that will change. I will not be applying for anything else for a while. I am going to see how much I can build my score with the three cards I now have; two of them which are unsecured!
Congrats, Christie! Is the JCPenney card issued by GE Bank? They are really good about credit limit increases.
Yes it is issued by GE. They have been good so far with my other card.
Congrats Christie! I have a PayPal GE card. I used it a lot the first two months and they gave me a $300 automatic increase which I was not expecting.
That’s awesome!
That’s great to know.
