ParticipantI hate my debit card. I hate using it. I hate having auto payments come off of there. Even though I have a great checking account and can see everything online. I can even enter on a calendar auto payments and checks I write have not cleared. It takes it out of my balance and gives me a working balance.
What comes out auto payment:
Hulu+
Cell phone
Gym
Att&tSo what I am thinking of doing. Is HULU, Cell and gym being put on my credit card. I am not even talking to At&t about changing my auto pay. I hate them.
The next day just making the payment to the credit card company for those charges.
Also using my credit card for groceries, hair cuts and stuff like that. Basically stop using my debit card and use my credit card 80% of the time.
Reasons I think this will work:
All the above bills would come out of my paycheck like normal. I would pay cc as soon as those charges posted.
Credit card is through my bank so I don’t have to wait more than 24 hours for a payment to post.
Make sure my utilization is under 30% before the closing date. So high balances are not reported to the credit bureaus.
I feel I have more protection against fraud using my cc over my debit card.I could use bill pay for my cell phone. But I would lose a 5% discount. May not seem like much but then my discount would go down to 15% and I like 20% better.
For all other bills like Doctor bills and that I can use the free bill pay.

ParticipantI used to pay everything with my debit card a few years back when my credit cards got cancelled (I’m now rebuilding). I now pay everything with a credit card, and pretty much use it as a debit card, meaning that I pay all my bills with the cc and then pay it off as soon as I can. It’s also a rewards card, so I do get a few dollars back which is nice and it’s also great to know that if my card gets stolen either physically or online (it already happened), I’m covered.
The only thing is that with a credit card it’s a lot easier to get carried away, specially when you start getting bigger credit limits.
ATT has a 5% discount? How does it work? I hate ATT! I’ve been with them for years but I’ve been wanting to leave forever. I just really need my iPhone so I don’t have too many options.

ParticipantThanks for the input. I am going to try it with a few bills. I do have a 15% discount on my cell through my job plus and extra 5% if I sign up for auto pay. So I can’t get that with At&t. Just the fact that I could not even pay my bill online with Att&t it says I am not authorized to pay that account. Go figure.
I am so into this rebuilding and been cut off from credit cards for long. I don’t see me just shopping. Plus I already bought me my present with my tax return. A small gift and then was responsible with the rest.
Sucks I have to move this year. Cause I have 1500.00 stashed that could wipe out some of those bills in collections.

ParticipantI’m looking for suggestions on healthy humans’ hair development. There are many various methods and products available that can support healthy hair development and scalps. Simply make sure the goods you use have easy-to-follow instructions and that you’re obtaining the desired outcomes. However, I need more details, https://reliefseeker.com/hair-loss-treatment-guide so kindly remind me.
