Will making multiple payments on a credit account reflect negatively? For example my statement shows a due date of 05/03. I made the payment on 04/27. I get paid on the day the payment is due so can I make another payment? It usually takes about three days for my payment to post. I do not want to make another payment if it will make me show up as late because I have never been late or missed a payment and I have have had this card for 9 months.
I make multiple payments all the time. As long as you make the first payment before the due date, then your other payments will not appear as late. I’ve done this with both my Capital One and Bank of America cards.
Okay thanks. I appreciate the info. I was worried it would show up late and now I can make payments more often and get the utilization down.
