Is it the last reporting date that they use in order to determine when something should be removed from your credit report?
I am finding a few items that are way past the 7 year mark on Experian. I have disputed one item as it was not my account. Before I continue I want to make sure the information about dropping off is correct.
Thanks Everyone for your time.
Negative information will stay on your reports for 7 years from the date the account first became past due. Positive information will stay 10 years or longer. If you have some negative tradelines that are past the 7 year mark you can dispute them.
