Jerry, just remember, it's not a lie if you believe it!

i just leased a 2016 Nissan Rogue S. This is my second lease and I feel I got a better deal this time. I hate car dealerships, but I’ve quickly learned that you have to come in as prepared as you can in order to not let these people take advantage of you (and believe me, they will). I can’t wait for when you’ll be able to buy a car online, the same way you order sneakers from Amazon!
I’m still learning about car leasing and I feel I could’ve been even more prepared. I made a lot of mistakes, but I did what I could. If you are reading this and are about to lease a car, or interested in leasing one, please consider registering so we can discuss it and learn from each other. As I said, I’m really interested in learning more about car leasing as I want to be able to get the best deals possible. I might be getting another lease in a year or so.
I knew I wanted a “sign and drive” deal, I just wanted to pay the first month of the lease and take the car home. And I didn’t want to put any money down. I have worked very hard to have good credit, so I was able to do this. This is the deal that I got:
2016 Nissan Rogue S FWD
36 months, 12K miles a year lease
Monthly payment: $250
Due at signing: 1st month payment ($250)
Money down: $0
Security Deposit: $0
I walked out from the dealership with my new car by paying just the 1st month: $250. Everything was included in my monthly payment: taxes, registration, dealer fees…
It’s probably not the best deal, but I feel I did much better than my first auto lease.
