Hi all! I’m a newbie to not just this site but to forums, so bare with me.
I just opened up a secured credit card hoping to improve my credit. I would like to start cleaning up my credit report, how do I go about doing this? I was told to dispute the charges that are on there and go from there. But how do I get them wiped off after they are paid? Do I contact the collection company? I was told it should be in writing if anything communication is done with them.
Sorry for all the questions, my username shoud be “confused” instead of 2leftys!
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
Hello 2leftys and welcome to the forums,
What kind of charges are we talking about, credit cards, auto loans, medical bills, telephone bills? How old are they? Paying for deletion actually works, but each case is different. Do you have any charge offs on your reports?
