Jerry, just remember, it's not a lie if you believe it!

Hi there all. Had to change handle, having trouble logging in on old one, prolly used wrong pw. Was chgodave, now blackcat since my cat won’t let me type, seemed right.
Anyway had cap one secured card since august and am quite happy with it. I got an offer for an unsecured card from bank one for $300. Took that. One month later they raised it to $400. Wow. Not cheap, $75 first year. 99 each year after, but hey rebuilding costs money. Done for a while with new cards. No more inquiries for a bit. Hoping score goes up. 550 credit karma, 612 equifax . Seems like a big difference to me.
Welcome back dave! Congrats on that new unsecured card from Bank One.
Did you get one of those pre-approved offers from Bank One through the mail or was this something you applied for online? Pretty cool that they gave you an increase already, did you request it?
And can you request for the annual fee to be waived later on? Seems a bit high, but I agree, rebuilding costs money.
