Jerry, just remember, it's not a lie if you believe it!

I was just approved for the Chase Freedom card 🙂
I had been waiting for the right moment to apply for a new credit card as I really want to get my Capital One secured deposit back. After finding out today that my FICO score went from 667 to 703 (checked my score at myfico.com), I decided that today would be the day to apply. So I applied and was instantly approved! No clue on what my credit limit is, it just said that I had been approved. I’ll have to wait and see, hopefully it will not be too low…
I’m not looking nor interested in having too many credit cards, two are more than enough for me (BOA and now Chase). I just want to have the credit that I need and no more. I can now close my Capital One Card so I can get my deposit back. Yay!
UPDATE:
Well, I just called their automated system and found out I was approved for $3k. Awesome!
That was quick! I received my chase freedom card today, about a week or so after being approved. I got an email a couple of days after I being approved saying “You’ve been approved and your new Freedom card will be arriving soon”, so I was expecting to receive the card this week. Just activated the 5% cash back for the next 3 months. Categories: Restaurants, Movie Theaters and Lowe’s. So far so good!
